As the graphic designer for the Carnegie Museum of Natural History, I played a pivotal role in developing the visual experience for the From Egypt to Pittsburgh series of temporary exhibitions. Sacred Scents explores the significance and power of incense in Egyptian culture. I was responsible for crafting the exhibition's panel design and layout.
This project presented a unique opportunity to enhance visitor accessibility and inclusivity by incorporating Arabic translations for the exhibition copy. Sacred Scents marked a significant milestone for the Natural History Museum as the first major exhibition to implement this crucial language feature.
